Beach-Ready Makeup: Products for Sun-kissed Glow

Living in Miami, where the heat and humidity are constant companions, I've adopted a "less is more" philosophy when it comes to beach makeup. It's all too easy to leave the house feeling fabulous, only to end up with smudged mascara, flat hair, and a shiny face from SPF and moisturizers within minutes.

I'm passionate about finding beauty products with clean formulations. While I haven't completely transitioned my entire beauty routine yet, I'm steadily eliminating products that don't meet my standards. About a year ago, I purged a significant portion of my collection, giving away items I no longer used or that weren't the best for my skin. 

Lipstick and lip gloss are my daily essentials—I can't stand the feeling of dry, bare lips. If you share this obsession, you'll understand the need for products that are safe, non-toxic, and won't have you ingesting chemicals throughout the day.

With that in mind, here are my top picks for natural, beachy beauty products that withstand Miami's heat and keep me looking fresh all day long.

SPF

My other fav is COOLA Organic Sun Silk Drops that is super dewey, hydrating and gives a highlighted flush look to the complexion. I use this when I don't feel like having a tint just dewey looking skin.

I am ILIA and Chanel obsessed so I use a lot of their products. I love the product and packaging on both these brands. 

CHEEKS + HIGHLIGHTER + BRONZER

I love Chanel's Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream - i'ts a gel bronzer for a sun-kissed glow. I was just in Europe and searched every city I went to for the new formulation as they have been sold out everywhere! I finally found it in Rome...happy day! They are now restocked so get it before it sells out again!

Ilia - Liquid Light Serum Highlighter in Rose Soft Gold is light coverage that gives an illuminating dewey finish to the skin. Sometimes I mix the RMS SPF 30 with a bit of this Serum together for a bronze dewey complexion.

Ilia - Multi-Stick for Lips + Cheeks I am a massive fan of these sticks. I loveee a flushed cheek. It's the perfect addition to that sun-kissed look we all want. I use these sticks on my cheeks and across my nose to give a flushed effect and you can use it on your lips as well. I love multi-use products. My fav colors are In The Mood (Mauve Rose) and Whisper (Peachy Pink) 

Chanel Baume Essentiel - Glow Stick in Rosée and Sculpting has become one of my fav new beachy glow essentials. Love adding this as a highlighter to cheek bones. The texture is delicious…super creamy and hydrating. I even add Rosee to the lips!

LIPS - KISS KISS

Ilia - Balmy Tint Hydrating Lip Balm in Lullaby is a super hydrating lip balm with a hint of color. 

Ilia - Color Block Lipstick in Rosette is my go to Lipstick. I love how hydrating and long lasting the color is while being a super clean formula!

EYES

Super obsessed with Chanel’s Liquid Eyeshadows. So creamy and feels incredible on the eyelid. I loveeee the color #26 Quartz Rose…it’s become by everyday staple eyeshadow.

I loovvee Ilia's Limitless Lash Mascara. It goes beyond my expectatioins of any natural mascara. Buildable and flake-resistant, Limitless Lash Mascara lengthens, lifts, and separates with just the right amount of volume! Highly recommend this mascara. For day I love a Brown Mascara in Before Dawn. For some added drama or a night out to dinner I add individulal false lashes to the outer corner of my eye...it gives a sexy doe eyed look ;)

For everyday long gorgeous lashes I apply Latisse twice a week to my lashes. If you are a new user to lash growth serum use it a few times a week until you get desired length and then just maintain once/twice weekly.
